The housing affordability index remains very high. Two out of three people own their own homes, a possibility because affordable housing can be found for under $170,000. Residential sales volume has been among the highest totals in more than a decade.
QUICK COMMUTES
When work is the focus, short commute times make the day more manageable. Drive times are a fraction of a large metropolitan commute. Typically, commute times range from 16 to 32 minutes in urban areas. They can be as short as 5 minutes in smaller communities.

Large acreage ownership and other rural lifestyle pursuits are at your doorstep. Horse and other large animal ownership, and some of the best hunting from upland bird to big game is all here while still having access to metro amenities.
